Welcome to issue no. 1 of the Citrus Diaries cookbook!
I’ve been looking for a new way to share & update recipes that reach a wider audience. So welcome to my cookbook series! Each issue will focus on a meal category, e.g. beverages, condiments, breakfast, dessert, etc.
As new recipes are created, I will update the cookbooks to include them. As well as, sending new recipes straight to your email. Anything that you see shared on socials will almost always appear in your inbox with all the details. New cookbook issues coming every 2 weeks.
Now without further ado let’s get into…beverages, issue 1/10!
Café Cordetto
Prepare 1 shot of espresso and pour into a mug. Add a splash of Grappa liquor and a lemon twist.
Caffè corretto, is an Italian caffeinated alcoholic drink, consisting of a shot of espresso with a small amount of liquor, usually grappa, and sometimes sambuca or brandy.
Created in partnership with Palermo Body for their coffee body scrub.
Mulled Wine
Smells like: baking spices & berry pie
Tastes like: plum, blackberry, raspberry
Empty the full box of vin rouge into a medium saucepan and put on medium heat
Add the spices. They’re all organic and sourced sustainably by our friends @burlapandbarrel
Turn heat down to low and simmer for 15 minutes
Taste and add your sweetener of choice (sugar, honey, maple or agave syrup,...)
Strain and serve with the dehydrated orange slices

Tart Cherry Mocktail
Perfect before bed or really anytime you just want to chill out 🍒
Combine tart cherry juice and lemon ginger sparkling water in a glass with lots of ice. Bonus points if you make tart cherry ice cubes by freezing some of the juice ahead of time.
Loaded Bloody Mary
Ingredients
1oz vodka
Ice
Garish: dill, cheddar cheese, celery, The Real Dill Caraway Garlic Dill Pickles
Directions
Spread sprigs of dill around the inside of your cocktail glass. Add a long piece of celery. Assemble cubes of cheddar cheese on a pick and place in glass.
Combine the vodka, Bloody Mary mix, and ice in a glass. Stir well. Pour into cocktail glass with garnishes.
Additionally garnish with a slice of caraway garlic dill pickle on the rim.

Spicy Pickle Margarita
Ingredients
1½ oz tequila
½ oz triple sec
½ oz agave
¾ oz lime juice
½ tbsp sea salt for rim
½ tsp chili powder for rim
½ tsp minced dill for rim
Ingredients
Prepare a cocktail glass with a spice rim: Add sea salt, chili powder and dill to a shallow dish and stir to combine. Use a lime slice to coat the rim of the glass. Submerge the glass into the spice mix until the rim is coated.
Add tequila, triple sec, pickle juice, agave, lime juice and ice to a cocktail shaker and shake until chilled.
Fill your prepared cocktail glass with ice. Strain the cocktail mixture into the glass.
Garnish with a pickle.

Matcha Tonic
So refreshing, the perfect anytime drink 🍵
Prepare a “shot” of matcha. Pour over ice and top with lemon tonic.
Blackberry Citrus Mocktail
Such a refreshing drink for end of summer days!
Muddle a handful of fresh blackberries.
Top off with Better Booch Citrus Sunrise Kombucha
Add one big ice cube
Enjoy!
