Learning The History Behind My Fav Food!
History of lupini beans, fun beverages, mushroom tacos, spring farmer's market shopping list, & a watch named after my dog 🐩🫂🍊
Happy Tuesday! We’re almost moved into the new house and it will be such a relief when we’re 100% done.
Although my biggest accomplishment of the week had nothing to do with the moving process…it was finally making thai tea in the Breville. I’ve had a video bookmarked for awhile now and finally took the time to try it when I desperately needed a fun drink but more caffeine would’ve taken me out lol. Luckily, I had some condensed milk sachets in my pantry. Don’t be scared, give it a go!

Harlow and I are working from a coffee shop as I’m writing this, there’s really something to be said about a change of scenery. Speaking of scenery — where are we buying curtains? I have a few windows I’m trying to source some fun printed panels for and it is harder than I thought it would be.

For the pod this week I chatted with the founder behind my favorite pasta and snack brand. I have become obsessed with all things lupini beans, so learning the history behind such a historic legume was SO COOL! Check it out along with all the usual items :)
Aaron Gatti of Brami

Brami is devoted to celebrating the magic of Italian slow-food traditions with innovative protein-rich products crafted for modern convenience. Brami's products feature the ancient lupini bean —a Mediterranean superfood that once fuelled Roman warriors and has been cherished for its health benefits for centuries. Brami currently offers two Made-in-Italy product lines: Lupini Bean Snacks and Italian Protein Pasta.

I had a huge mushroom phase a few years ago and ate them so frequently I could no longer stomach them. BUT these tacos have pulled me right back in. Plus, the farmer’s market has such a lovely mushroom vendor, so really this recipe couldn’t come at a better time.
There’s a restaurant up the street that serves the most delicious thai tea boba that I seriously can’t get enough of. I literally drank 2 last night at dinner. I saw a tiktok awhile back of a woman making the thai tea base in an espresso machine, so you know I had to try it. It is SO easy and delicious. 10/10 recommend.
Weekly Favorites

I’m in the market to get new prescription sunglasses and this shape from WP caught my attention. Although, I can’t tell is they’re giving clout goggle or not. Please advise.
I found Becky’s prints on tiktok and I simply can’t get enough. I’d love to order some for my office or our dining room. Going from art covered walls at our old place to (temporarily) barren walls at the new place is shocking lol. So I’ve been passing the time by saving tab after tab of artwork I’d like to purchase.
This dress is just so effortlessly beautiful. That’s all.
This is a random find but pinterest influenced me per usual. Why have I never considered needing a quilted bedside caddy lol. It’s so cute and clears up any clutter. My main goal for the new space is to get everything out of view.
I love a good sneaker and something about this style is so appealing — maybe it’s just because it comes in pink lol. I could see these being my shoe of the summer if I could find a resale pair under $150.
It may be getting hot outside but nothing can stop me from lusting after a gorgeous sweater and this one is no exception! The color, neckline, and cut is just too perfect.
I haven’t worn a watch in years but after I saw this style named Harlow, I feel like I may need to start wearing one. Who wouldn’t want a piece of jewelry named after their beloved dog??
I desperately need an alarm clock that is not my phone. I have my eye on this one. Very chic and exactly the tech features I’m looking for.
